[attr="class","skullbody"]Ichigo knew the lockdown of Musutafu was still active, but some shops, or in this case, that important to Ichigo, bakeries were still open. Kaiju cakery & cafe is one of Ichigo's favorite places in the area. So when he worked up the confidence to asked that cute spider-head girl in his class on a date, he was so happy she accepted his date. Ichigo hasn't been on dates since he arrived. The closest thing to dating was when he hung out with that Yumi girl at that manga cafe a while back. But this is a real genuine date. [break][break] So he was excited, he even called his father to ask for some dating advice since the old bastard managed to get mom to date and marry him, so he got to know how to do dates. But the old bastard told him to be himself and no sex. Weird, he mentioned that last bit. But the old bastard is a worrywart, so maybe it made sense in his mind. Ichigo also texted his brother a short message of- "Going out on a date, be back at the dorms later." Ichigo texted as he anxiously waited by the front door of the dorms. [break][break] Dad said to just being myself, but what if she doesn't like him, what if she finds him too plain or boring looking! Ichigo started to panic as he looked himself over again. Specifically, his outfit. Ichigo noticed the dipping in temperature. He decided to wear a more appropriate outfit for the season. He wore a black long-sleeved shirt with ripped up sleeves, black ripped up jeans, black shoes, and a red flannel sweater wrapped around his waist if he got cold and needed to warm up, or his kumoko-Chan got chilly, and he can be smooth and cover her up with his sweater. So smart, Ichigo. He praised himself for that last idea. [break][break] Ichigo hoped he didn't have to wait too much longer for Kumoko-cha. The wait is killing him even though it has only been a few minutes at most.

Okay, someone actually asking the poor nervous spider girl out for a date. This was not something that happened every day. No wonder Kumoko felt nervous. She had long ago resigned to the fact that given her mutation, no one would ever willingly ask her out. And yet that somehow proved to be untrue. And the guy called her cute in chat! Throughout her life, Kumoko was often called many things. Horrifying, scary, hideous, the list went on and on. But cute? That was rare. Despite not having the best confidence in herself and typically disagreeing whenever someone did compliment her appearance, Kumoko at least appreciated the kind words.
So yeah, why not accept Ichigo's request? It was not like the spider girl had anything to do at the moment anyway. If anything, this worked out great, because Kumoko honestly wanted to get along with and spend time with all of her fellow classmates if they were willing. Plus, the guy seemed sweet. How could she say no? She just couldn't! Speaking of sweet, the promise of going to a place with sweets was simply irresistible to the girl with both a huge sweet tooth and a big appetite.
Okay, don't worry. Nothing bad is gonna happen. It's just a simple date. I've been to a handful of em before, so I know what to expect. A good time and a chance to have fun and get to know my classmate better. I just need to not worry so much and try to relax! Oh, and also avoid being awkward. That would be an immense help.
Not wanting to overdress, Kumoko chose an outfit that was nice and casual, but not overly so. A white t-shirt with several red and pink heart-shaped spiders sewn on it, a thin long-sleeved pink jacket over the shirt (it wouldn't help much with the less than warm weather, but it was better than nothing), brown pants, and white shoes. No makeup, as the spider girl never wore makeup, seeing as she didn't like it on herself.
Eh, I just hope I don't look too plain. Oh well, I probably shouldn't worry too much. I tend to overthink things. It's not like this is gonna be anything more than a friendly casual outing, right? ...Right?
With her purse slung over her shoulder, Kumoko was ready to head out. Alright, best to stay calm and chill. No need to worry about screwing up. Kumoko calmly and gracefully walked out her room and headed to the front of the dorms.
...And by that, it actually meant tripping and nearly crashing right onto Ichigo.
"EEEEP!" Whoa there, the date hasn't even started, and there was already some trouble! Why does this keep happening to me? Fortunately, Kumoko managed to regain her balance quickly enough to avoid actually crashing into Ichigo. That was a close one! "Er, hi. Well I'm sure clumsy, aren't I?" She then chuckled nervously, hoping to pass this embarrassing moment off as a joke of some kind.
"Ooh, you look really nice, Ichigo!" Kumoko smiled, both eager to quickly change the subject of her clumsiness to literally anything else, and because she genuinely liked the guy's look. Pretty good in her opinion. "I look forward to having a good day with you. Shall we go?" Kumoko looked forward to having a fun time. Not just eating sweets, but genuinely getting to know Ichigo better.

[attr="class","skullbody"]Luckily enough for Ichigo, his anxiety and nervousness didn't last too long as he heard the voice of the spider-headed girl approach him. And the grey-scaled boy couldn't help but stare at her-not in fear or disgust but with admiration and as if he just spotted the cutest/most divine looking person in his life. Ichigo couldn't help but blush as the girl approaches him with her cute outfit and her general cuteness. Ichigo got so absorbed in her clothing and her appearance. She almost fell into him as she trips from one of her legs. [break][break] Ichigo nearly catches the girl, but she regains her balance a little bit and says-"whoa-Falling for me already. Sorry, are you okay?" Ichigo tensely tried to joke with the girl as she straightens up from nearly tripping onto him. Respecting her personal space and he politely coughed and asked the girl. "If you are about to trip or fall again. Would you mind me helping you up or even catching you if you don't mind?" Ichigo politely asked, trying to be helpful but also respecting her autonomy by asking her consent if she will allow him to assist her. If she wanted it, that is. [break][break] Ichigo smiles at the girl as she calls herself clumsy. "Eh-its fine, It's a charming trait, I think." Ichigo said- trying not to bring up her appearance since, despite their different views on the topic, he respects her wishes not to have it commented on, which is fair. So Ichigo instead decided to focus on things she can control like her behavior or attire. Dad always says it's better to compliment a woman on what they change rather than what that they cannot. But first, Kumoko complimented on his attire, which got a good-natured chuckle out of him, which from him came out as more intimidating than anything else. "Heh-thanks, your outfit looks nice as well-but will it keep you warm? It's a bit chilly out today." Ichigo genuinely asked the girl, worried for her health, with the weather getting colder closer to the night. [break][break] Ichigo smiles less scarily as she said as she looks forward to their date. "glad to hear it, Kumo-Chan-Is it too soon for nicknames?" Ichigo started but then cut himself off, asking if the nickname is off-limits. Ichigo then nods his head as she asked to go, "Yes, let's go." Ichigo said as he guided the spider-headed girl outside the dorm hall doors. [break][break] Ichigo, while they walked to their destination, which thankfully is walking distance from the school, asked the girl some questions such as- "What do you do in your free-time", "Do you like Support classes?" and finally "Pardon my sleepy brother, he's a good guy, I swear." and with that final question, they arrived at the cakery, Kaiju Cakery. Ichigo heard whispers of this place a few weeks back and investigated it and had some of their cakes and pies- it was so good- he thought to bring other sweet-toothed people here when he made some friends- which if this was anywhere else would've been a pipe dream. But Yuuei is different. So Ichigo looked at Kumoko and asked, "Here we go-Kaiju cakery and cafe, you should try the apple cinnamon pie-its good!" Ichigo suggested to the girl as they entered and took a seat to the side of the cafe, and Ichigo waited for the girl's response- it was such a cute and old-time-y cafe that it was very charming. Ichigo was also just a sucker for good pies- his mother used to make some awesome pies every now again with a lot of sugar and spices for him and Basil as children. She still makes it sometimes on holidays or long weekends when he and his brother visited.
