Niji flipped through the notes, checking to make sure that there were no mistakes or errors. Parts and scraps scattered the table as she put the final touches on her project. As she screwed in the last bolt, Niji wiped the sweat from her brow, smiling at the completion of her task. In the past seven months Niji had worked on several projects. And, thanks to Hiroki-sama, some of them will be displayed at his amusement. With her and Chereka's inventions, she hoped she could finally build the dream company that her father envisioned.
But the one project she was excited for was the one on the table. Due to the recent events of Musutafu, Niji had to push the completion of this a little faster than the others, hoping that this would be the opening item for the company. Safety was number one priority and Niji wanted to focus on helping others with quirk issues or being able to defend themselves if they did not have one. As she placed the white blanket on the table, she thought about who to show this project to. Desmoshi. No, he was busy planning another community event. Harhuui-senpai. She hadn't seen her in some time. Honey-senpai. She was busy setting up something.
Just as Niji was about to give, she remembered who fixed Desmoshi's support gear when he was going into his second year. Charolette would love this. And who knows she might get a few pointers from the genius shrimp. Niji sent out a personal message to her, saying if she had the time would she be able to come by the robotics club.

BEING ON CAMPUS AGAIN WAS less than ideal. The prawn met any unforeseen change with reluctance, this being one—the only foreseeable benefit was easy access to the workshop, which admittedly had more power tools than what the prawn had available at home. Still… it did nothing to improve her mood.
And, with most of her distractions still at the Frat House, the prawn had little to occupy her mind while she was temporarily residing on-campus once again.
The prawn was laying on her bed in the dormitory, playing games on her phone, when it buzzed with a notification. A small pop-up window announced a direct message from one of her underclassmen, a second-year Support by the name of Niji. There was a sort of camaraderie between the tech-focused support kids, but Charlotte—as in many social circles—tended to be a silent fixture rather than an active participant. As such, Niji’s request for the prawn’s presence was greatly unexpected.
Charlotte groaned, opening the message. For a moment, she considered making-up some excuse, for the shear motive of staying in bed—but a kouhai was in-need, and requesting Charlotte specifically. How often did something like that happen? The prawn typed slowly with her thumb, then sent the following text back:
< Sure. Give me 10-15 minutes. >
That’d at least give her some time to muster the energy to get out of bed. The prawn roused herself, after spending a few minutes more staring at the wall, smoothing her rumpled clothes down with her palms, and retrieving her surgical mask from the handle of the door. Preparations made, the prawn set-out for the workshop.
A brief walk later, she arrived at the Robotics Club, lavender eyes appraising the quiet room until they found Niji.
“Yo,” the mutant greeted, raising a hand in salutations, “What’s up?”

Hopefully, this would work. Niji needed this to go smoothly if she wanted to present this to the investors. She was so close to that dream company. If her father was here he would be proud. She touched the core in her chest. As long as she had this, he was always with her.
Niji smiled as shrimp-tech genius entered the room. "Charlotte-senpai. Thank you for coming," Niji said with a smile. "I am excited about something I have been working on for the past few months. A now, I get to share it with you and get your opinion on it." She walked over to the table with the white sheet. "What if I told you there was a way for someone to defend themselves? A way for someone to learn a martial art at the basic level without needing to go to classes for it?" She pulled the sheet off and said with joy, "Behold! Meet the Gamakichi Bots!"
The table displayed eight tiny robots all in different colors. As she turned them on they began to do martial arts as though practicing. The yellow penguin one was punching and kicking a purple bat looking on that had tiny mirrors on its wings. The blue tiger in samurai armor and silver lion in knight armor was practicing with their claws as though they were sword fighting. The red fox with cannons on its back, jumping back and forth in excitement. The orange giraffe was using its sharp beak to play fight with the pink rabbit with discs on the end of its ears and a green praying mantis with claws.
"With these minibots, be can actually combat against things they normally could not defend against," Niji said to Charolette with a smile. "Want to see how it works?"
