3rd Year Support Apprenticeships Mar 4, 2020 20:36:39 GMT -4

To emphasize the specialization required from Support Studies graduates, all students in this course will be automatically offered the opportunity to undergo an apprenticeship at an approved organization in their 3rd year. Though technically optional, it is highly encouraged. These apprenticeships will be run alongside their usual studies, and last until their graduation, after which they are expected to be find employment, likely at the organization they completed their apprenticeship at.
The goal of these apprenticeships is to offer Support students a chance to focus on their own specializations and to open up employment opportunities following their graduation.
From an OOC perspective, what this means is that during their 3rd year, students will have the opportunity to do work in their desired field, in a manner similar to internships, but more focused on whatever their specialty is, and with a greater time commitment lasting the whole year. In addition, all apprenticeship students will get their own alternative the Hero License Exam that most students will be undertaking in their third year.
Note that this is not an exhaustive list of employment opportunities for Support students following employment, nor are students strictly required to work at the same organization they completed their apprenticeship at. While most students will use this to lead into future employment, it can also just be used for further experience!
For a list of all organizations, both public sector and private sector, that are authorized for this program, see below:
