Miku didnt wanna stay cooped up at the hotel. She was in a brand new country, it'd be a pity if she just stayed indoors for the entire time, so she offered herself as a translator and luckily Saito was the only one with a brain. He wanted to do things raw, ie not use a gadget but experience things authentically. And thats why Miku decided to join him, where ever he was.
From the photo and later the selfie, she found out where she was, mostly because she asked the locals where was this and where was that, eventually, she found Saito. How if she never interacted with him before? Well obviously... he was the only japanese person in her sight "Saito!" Miku called out to him as she approached him. She then stopped to take a breath and said "Man you're like a... a... elusive person... fella... thing. It was NOT easy finding you" she then looked at him "So... erm... any random direction you wanna go?" she asked
Miku had no goal and no place to be. So she didnt mind to go around aimlessly with Saito. Besides this was an opportunity to get to know him
Saito knew where he was. He'd already studied the maps and knew the signs and thanks to BoogleStreetView it was very difficult for a guy like him to get lost. However, he'd quickly found a slight disadvantage to being a tourist in a foreign country. The language. He was AWFUL at English. The letters and vowels all looked weird and the sounds would often crack and stumble in his mouth, making a broken mix of unmeshed consonants and consolations. When Miku suggested being his translator, he thought the girl was just kidding - it sounded deadly boring, he was just walking around after all...
He eyed the group of people Red had tagged as 'chavs' from afar, stood beside an iron street sign sitting bowlegged at his hips. It said something, he was sure. This is where he'd meet Miku. Hajimari Miku was a girl he'd met in passing, shared very few words within reality but, from their slight interactions on U.A Chat, they didn't hate each other. Good enough! The tall boy, shaggy silver hair shifting in the mid-morning breeze, thumbed the screen of his phone as a soft voice called from his left. Saito looked over to see the blonde approach, looking as if she'd been running the ways here.
"Man you're like a... a... elusive person... fella... thing. It was NOT easy finding you" She had to breathe in between her words, it made Saito smirk a bit, feeling bad about making her run. "Sorry about that, Miku. Weren't no need to dash." "So... erm... any random direction you wanna go?" He thought about it, glancing over at those chav people again. "If you're askin' what I wanna do today..." He smirked, mischievously. They were apparently kids who thought they were tough - Saito's favourite kind of person to rile up. They looked a bit rough though. A fellow U.A student would surely be able to handle herself if a fight broke out... but even then, pissing off kids in another country for no reason would look real bad. Bee-sensei had already given him a stern talk about his attitude here. Oh boy, and getting Miku involved!? Dumb plan! Abort! Luckily, as usual, a cat showed up to save the day.
A lightly furred ginger tabby slid through a metal gate. It gave Saito a quick look and dismissed him, going about its day down the street. "For now, how bout we follow him?" Without waiting for a response, Saito was already striding to keep up with the cat, his red hoodie catching the harsh English wind. "Keep up now, Daisy, this little scamp's got a headstart!"
And thus, they began on their adventure. Following a damn cat. Brilliant. "No clue.

"Of course there was a need to dash! I hate making people wait. Besides, I dont live at the hostel. So Im further away" Miku said. After which she asked if he wants to go at any random direction. Saito then smirked mischivously, Miku didnt know what that smirk was for. She hoped it wasnt something REALLY bad. Soon a cat showed up, Miku looked at Saito and then the cat and then back at Saito who suggested they followed the cat. Miku nodded "Ok"
Miku raised her eyebrow when Saito told her to keep up "I hope you called the cat Daisy and not me"
And thus Miku followed Saito, who followed a cat. And well, since they were going on an adventure following a cat, Miku asked "What would you call the cat?" because it was always nice to make conversation, she hoped to get to know Saito better. Maybe they will become friends and not just aquantances. Miku needed to broaden her horizons and spend time with new people. She and Saito were 2nd years, nearly 3rd years and she never interacted with him properly. That was a cardinal sin if you ask her. She needed to know her fellow students!
[attr="class","box full"] Cross Daisy off the list...
[attr="class","content-div"] As they walked, the backing track of traffic and windy whistles, Saito let out a slight laugh. He rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry about that. The nicknames get ahead of me sometimes." He kept a step ahead of Miku, a friendly distance. Now and then, when he was talking to her, he span on his heels to walk backwards for a short length since the wind made it a little hard to hear her. "I thought Daisy was pretty good though, hair colour just about fits!" His friendly teasing had gotten him in trouble more than once - so he stopped there.
They'd walked a little longer, a street or two, getting into the brambly tangle of illegible shop names and unidentifiable signs that was a backstreet market. Miku spoke up. "What would you call that cat?" Saito blinked and let out a low, rumbly hum, like an engine on the verge of turning over. "Mint." He eventually replied. "Looks like a Mint to me. How about you?" Saito once again span around to face her, confident he wasn't about to fall over.
Until he fell over. Before Miku could answer, the back of Saito's shoe caught on an uneven paving stone and he, like a great grey-leafed tree, tumbled to the ground. He landed heavily but avoided cracking his head. It shocked him more than hurt him. "Fuck!" He cursed in loud Japanese, rubbing his back and backside, before laughing a bit. "Dear, oh dear. Serves me right!" he grinned, finding levity in the embarrassing display in front of a classmate.

Saito apologized for the Daisy nickname comment and explained he said it because of the hair. Miku looked at her hair for a second and then shook her head. "Its ok, its just that it sounds so.... delicate. And I tell people Im not a Delicate Daisy, Im tough too! Y'know?" Miku said as she tried to make conversation with Saito
She then asked what would he call the cat, to which he blinked and hummed as he thought, he soon decided on a name. Mint. Miku nodded and opened her mouth to talk, but Saito tripped and fell. Something which scared her something terrible as she attempted to grab him to prevent the fall, alas she wasnt fast enough. The fall obviously hurt Saito as he swore in Japanese. Miku extended her hand to him to help him up "A-are you ok? Should we go to a doctor??" Miku asked
Miku was obviously worried about her fellow student, that fall was quite the scare that she almost screamed. When she got the chance she checked to see if he was bleeding or not. She may not be a medic, but she knew what was bad and what wasnt. Once she saw that all was 'good' she let go of him.
