It was a new year, which meant new students joining the hero school that was known as UA. As such, it needed new teachers from all across Japan and perhaps from around the world who were Professional Heroes fighting to save the world. Though it was a slow process, each of the new Hero classes were being filled up and now with a small handful, it was time to start an introduction to Class 1-B.
Each student of 1-B would be pinged on their phones with a short message informing them that class would not be held in the classroom this day. No, in fact each member would need to arrive outside at Ground Alpha. They would also be informed to bring their gym clothes.
Upon arriving at the obstacle course, they would be greeted by a fairly tall man casually reading a small book. With spiky ashen hair that hangs loosely over a head band that would conceal one eye and a mask to hide his overall appearance, this teacher was someone who preferred anonymity over all else.
Upon arriving to class, the teacher would tuck his book into his back pocket and address everyone in a rather lazy, but calming voice to match his tired demeanor.
"Hey, how are you all doing today? I apologise for bringing you all out here like this, but I figure first impressions are everything and I do not want to start our year off in some stuffy classroom. So, for today I know that you all hate things like paperwork, math, and all that jazz. So consider this more of a meet and greet, yeah? No pressure. I want each of you to form a circle around me. A big circle! We're gonna get to know one another a bit because you all are going to be team mates. Team mates work together best once they understand each other, obviously. So I'll start."
He coughed casually into his hand, dusting the metallic guard of his glove against the forest green survival jacket on his torso.
"My name is Kiryu of the Nobuyuki clan, but you may also refer to me by my Hero name of Spymaster. I hail from a small village that no longer exists, my life is redacted, and I have participated in overthrowing governments in places you are not allowed to know about. So, now that we've got that out of the way, let's start with...you."
Kiryu would point his finger casually to a random student and, once they had introduced themselves properly, the class would go around until everyone had said their piece.
Let's spend the day outside! | Class 1-B | Class Introductions
The young Chronicler of the world was finishing up some of his daily mandatory reading where a peculiar message popped in his phone. Intrigued, he broke his reading trance and proceeded to read the message to himself, pondering what exactly it entailed. "...Out...side...hmm, I suppose that will do just fine, after all this is currently a find and dandy day...what's this?" A certain phrase causes Kaz's face to pout a little. "Gym Clothes? Are you saying that I am not allow to wear my regalia? This is truly an outrage! Why in the world would they disapprove of my dress code and instead put on some...drivel like the gym clothes, with how comfortable they are and how simple the material is and how rich the color palette and....and...Why can't I wear my jacket, though?" He whined for a little, but then sighed. Calm down, Kaz. You shouldn't be acting like this, remember what Mom said. No use whining over things you can't control and just...do it.
Upon entering the area known as Ground Alpha, Kaz arrives with a book under his arm and sees that there are only a few students at the moment. He tugs on his ascot, having stubbornly tacked it on his overall look out of some sort of 'spite' and 'i really really want to wear this despite the disadvantages' sort of deal. As the rest of the students arrived, Kaz focused himself on finishing the chapter of the day. While he is a fan of regaling fellow classmates, as well as potentially showing off oneself in front of a potential Chosen One, he can't just refuse to tear away from this chapter. He has to know what happens next, so first impressions be damned.
Upon the rest of the students arriving, the masked man (who looks quite cool and possibly a rare 'cool' chosen one, Kaz notes in his mind) started to speak out in a relaxed yet demanding tone, attracting Kaz's attention. He closes the book, carrying with him as he joins with the rest in a circle formation as the man introduces himself and what he expects from the rest of the students. He begins to point randomly, asking for whoever is chosen to tell them a little about themselves. With the way he does it so nonchalantly, he might have expected it to be a short introduction.
Unfortunately, The Chronicler of The World does not do simple introductions.
When the finger aims straight at Kaz, he lets out a small laugh and smugly smirks. Opening the book out in the open and holding it as if he were reciting off of it, he proceeds to exclaim: "Thank you, Mr. Spymaster of the Nobuyuki Clan for choosing me with this honor of explaining oneself. Rejoice, then, for beholding yourself in front of this lowly chronicler, of he who exclaims the future and proclaims to the world its glory and potential. I am the one who records all chosen ones for the Earth to recall centuries from now, unable to remove it nor mark it off from the legacy that is the earth's core! I have come here to finish my mission to record everything and aid the chosen ones in fulfilling their destinies, to obtain the ULTIMATE PEAK IN THEIR POTENTIAL! You can call me...Kaz, as it is written on this new page of history!" He spreads his arms across, almost tempted to spin around in the heat of the moment but deciding against it. He lets out a small smirk as he closes the book as if he were denoting the end of his little speech. "I hope we can aid each other in whatever it is that we have to do in this year." He then opens the book to continue reading.

Owen was busy simply eating a scrambled egg sandwich for breakfast and browsing some dumb stuff online when the message came in, informing him to get into his gym clothes and meet at Ground Alpha for the year's first class. Oh, thank goodness! His gym clothes were so much more comfortable than the uniform and he could always do with some fresh air during class. Maybe they'd even be doing some activity where he got to show off how cool he is! The idea got Owen all fired up, so much so that he just quickly stuffed the rest of the sandwich into his mouth before getting his gym clothes on and running off to where the message had directed.
One of the first to get there, as was usual for the eager Irish lad, he found himself biding his time, jogging in place and giving a smile and wave to each and every student to filter into the vicinity to join the day's outdoor class. Some would probably find the clacking of his hooves a bit annoying, but he didn't even think about that at all. He only ceased his movement as their teacher began to speak.
He appreciated the calm, casual tone of it all. Even though his goal was to actually make progress this time around, it didn't seem like their instructor would be pushing them all too hard. Worked for Owen, he already had enough self-motivation to get what he wanted to done most of the time. At the teacher's instruction, Owen helped to form a circle, standing next to an odd kid with some kind of weird cloth tacked onto his gym top.
As if the unusual fashion sense wasn't enough, when he was chosen to introduce himself first, he started going off with some over-complicated grammar and long words. Owen did his best to listen closely, but had managed to zone out around the time his classmate mentioned "chosen ones". How can there be multiple chosen ones? Isn't the point that there's only the one? In the middle of that thought, Owen realized that he was apparently next to introduce himself.
Owen cleared his throat as he stepped forward. "Aye! Tough act to follow! I'll try me best though!" The tall lad let out a calm laugh Before continuing. "Right, the name's Owen O'Sullivan! I hail from Ireland, youngest o' six brothers, and the only one this pretty!" Another laugh as he gestured to himself. "I was here for a few months last year, but it was decided I'd be stayin' in the first year class since I hadn't made a year's worth o' progress in those months. Not much else to say, I suppose, me Quirk's pretty simple and whatnot." He clapped his hands together once, signalling that his next statement would be the end. "Lookin' forward to becomin' Heroes with y'all!" With that, he stepped back into the circle, waiting to listen to everyone else.

TAKE ME ON YOUR MIGHTY WINGS ACROSS THE SKY
And then there was Daisuke. He stood hunched over in a primal stance, his bestial image enhanced by the fact his tracksuit already bore noticeable claw-marks. Not quite man, not quite machine, he was an oddity even among other oddities.
He shuffled on the spot, impatience burning within him like a colony of ants residing underneath his skin. He saw all this talking as a waste of time. He thought they were there to learn to fight villains, not to hold hands and sing a big kumbaya. His annoyance with the whole situation showed in how he clenched his teeth. Surely they were all perfectly capable of getting to know each other in their own time?
To think he had rushed there oh so eagerly thinking they were finally going to get to fight. Love and Hate, his twin blades, waited in his hands for the chance to show their might. Perhaps they still would get this chance, but if that were the case then he hoped the rest of his class would hurry up and get on with their introductions.
First to speak up was some loudmouth Daisuke barely glanced at but sure as hell heard. What was he even on about with that crap about ‘chosen ones’ or whatever? Daisuke dismissed it all with a quick shake of his head. Thinking about it would only give him a headache.
Next to speak was a thankfully much quieter individual with twig-like shapes sticking out of his head Daisuke assumed were horns. So, they could be held back if they did not progress enough? That was incredibly good to know. He had no intention of being held back from his goals, not by anything or anyone.
After the horned teen finished, there was silence. A rather quite frustrating silence. Daisuke was already feeling restless and this did not help one bit. Finally, he could bear it no longer and practically leapt forward into the middle of the circle, straightening up to his full height to face his teacher and his peers as he threw his head back and let out the closest sound he could make to a roar, which was fairly close.
“Ishino Daisuke!” he declared after making this sound. “I am the Interceptor! Face me if you dare!”
(Regardless of how people reacted, he would then jump back into his original place).
As if to antagonize the young woman for choosing to stay up playing video games, the alarm beside her bed let out a horrific and repeated screeching sound determined to wake her from her sleep. unfortunately it was on this, the third attempt for that morning, that the young woman had finally had enough. Aurora gripped her pillow in her hand lifting her weary head to slide it from underneath herself. With no remorse she would then use her pillow to ensure the demise of the wretched clock that would dare to rob her of rest. Only for her phone to also betray her moments after the shattering sound of the lock against the ground in her dorm room. Checking her phone she saw numerous notifications with elegant titles such as Alarm 1, Alarm 2, and "WAKE UP IDIOT!!" and above them all a message that she was to be at Ground Alpha in her gym clothes for the first day of class.
"Oh, that's nice, class is outside today." She rolled over determined to sleep more. Only for the time stamp on the message to fully sink in. "OH SH*T I'M LATE!" Aurora scrambled out of bed, narrowly avoiding an embarrassing and painful face plant in the process. Grabbing her clothes and dashing into the shower she did her best to get ready for class. Hair still damp and with little time to style it as usual, she left it uncombed, and made for a full sprint towards the meeting grounds.
Seeing the class already gathered she was grateful she'd only missed some of the introduction though she did arrive just in time to hear a fellow classmate roar our followed by his name. "Well he seems friendly" she sarcastically muttered under her breath as she dropped her bags and took a moment to catch her breath.
After taking a moment to breath she stood up and with no hesitation stared directly at the instructor. trying her best to hide her american accent "Names Aurora, Aurora Noir nothing more, nothing less." She shifted trying to keep focus only on the teacher knowing that if she broke eye contact shed begin to fidget nervously since shed already managed to be late on her first friggen day of class. She would definitely be making a mental note NOT to tell Jaz that fact.

Discipline. Practice, Enjoyment. These were the commandments of the House of Stradivaris. As her morning ritual, Shizume took a quick shower that was exactly the length of time needed to complete Beethoven's fifth symphony. After getting dressed, she brushed her long blue hair precisely 64 times. Going through her music box, she selected a MP3 player with the appropriate tempo to keep her energized, yet calm through the day. Then she smacked her roommate out of her stone sleep as was requested before heading out the door.
The text interrupted her ride down the elevator. So they were going to meet at the school grounds instead of the classroom. This would give her enough time to switch shoes. Make it to a changing room, change, switch to a cloud based service that had Andantino Music through in the play list. She then secured her hair in a bun and grabbed her bag. She heard things about the School Grounds. They were often where the students were able to practice their quirks. So she grabbed her red hard shelled backpack that was usually seen worn by grade schoolers in Japan. By the time she stepped into the hallway, she realized she was already late.
Running as fast as her long legs could carry her, she eventually came up to the circle and came to a stop next to a large guy in shiny metal. And could her day get any worse?
“I am the Interceptor! Face me if you dare!”
This caused her to jump a bit, her blue over the ear headphones unsettling on her head, needing readjustment. She imagined this meant they were giving introductions. What a way to introduce yourself. Half Italian half Japanese, standing next to the Full Metal Alchebeast. Wait...Half Italian, Half Japanese. That gave her a pretty good idea. Stepping forward she raised her hand to say hi to everyone. Kon giourno! My name is Shizume Stradivarius. I hope this school will prepare us. I hail from Crete, Italy. But that is not the best of me. For all my life has been about sound. I have always sought to be the best around. I have come to this marvelous school. To learn how to hero with the rest of you. If thou wish to see how we will work, Behold the power of my quirk."
Opening her hand slowly, the ambient sounds of the outdoors grew louder. The wind rustled. Birds chirped at the same volume they were speaking at. The volume just kept increasing as she kept opening her hand before she snapped it closed in a fist and all sound was muted around them. It was perfect silence for a second before it all returned to normal. It was at this point, she set her bag down. A pair of Bachi on one side, and a violin case on the other side.
