Jaz: Hmm... meet me in the festival area, I'm close to there. There are a few training areas for exhibition matches and stuff. I'll see what I can do
Arisu had leapt at that invitation. Jazmine's ability to maneuver midair by what amounted to controlled rocket thrust from her explosive quirk had inspired her to start developing the same sort of traversal herself, but the truth was that she was far from mastery, and while Jazmine had already shared her own method of training- accidentally getting thrown off skyscrapers- it just didn't quite sound like the sort of training she'd want to undergo herself.
Arisu took exactly enough time to dress in clothing well suited to the sort of practice she expected she'd need to undergo- tanktop, track pants, sneakers, and a jacket for warmth to be discarded once Jazmine started her training in earnest. She wasn't at all sure whether or not she'd be fighting or doing more maneuver-based training, but she wanted to be ready for anything.
Once she arrived, Arisu wandered a little while, staying near the border between the practice obstacle course and the fighting rings for expositions. She didn't know which was going to be more Jazmine's speed for her ideas, but staying between the two meant that she'd have minimal travel whichever place she was meant to end up at. She checked her iFruit a few times, trying to make sure she didn't miss a message from Jaz, and kept an eye out in case she was noticed before she caught sight of the literal blonde bombshell.

"Yuh... yuh... yuh... YEET!" Perfect. The windup. The throw. The trajectory. The spin. The ark. Everything about that shot was utter perfection. As the can flew soared through the air, reaching the apex of its flight, it slowly began to drift downwards, bending and twisting in the air before gravity wrapped its claws around the aluminum item, forcing it to begin descending. Then again that was all part of the plan, wasn't it. It gradually begun picking up the pace, initiating a crash landing procedure as it fell to its undeniable fate - the trash bin. Yep. The force of nature that was Jasmine's recycling preference ended up tossing a damn coke can into a bin in such a dramatic fashion the blonde felt like facepalming through the goddamn moon.
What the fuck are you doing? Fuck if I know. Are you really that bored? ...pretty sure that question doesn't need to be answered.Check your phone, dumbass.Oh, okay. Conversations with herself? Nope, Jasmine Noir didn't do that too often, only when she was really, really, really bored. Why was she bored? Well, after her recent self-inflicted injury Rinkusu Kurama, her proverbial knight in shining motherfucking armor and her self-appointed physician, had banned her from any type of training for a few days. Yeah, Jasmine tried to sneak in a routine or two when Rin wasn't looking - and all that accomplished was getting an earful from her lover/roommate that had her groaning and cringing into their room's floorboards. Yeah, not the most fun.
Yeah, she could've tried to draw something - but, surprisingly enough, the blonde had come up utterly broke these past couple of weeks and she had all but spent out all of her spray cans... and she had borrowed her pencils, markers and other shit to her art's club students, so there was that too. She could play video games, but then again nothing decent was out and she really didn't feel like replaying Fighter Street for the fifteenth fucking time.
Studying? Never heard of it.
It wasn't until her phone buzzed to life and her subconscious alter ego (no, she wasn't actually talking to Ember, she wasn't that crazy) reminded her of it as she had her head up so far up her own ass she hadn't even noticed. Arisu...? Wait, it was that girl from one of Geist's lessons, right? The one who had some form of flame control? Yeah, Jasmine remembered her. She needed tips, by the looks of it. Aerial maneuverability? Oh shit, this is great. Yes finally you'll stop looking like a lunatic. Shut the fuck up. I'm a voice in your head. You're the one who made me. Oh. Right. Shutting you up in 3... 2... 1...
That being not said but supposedly done, the blonde lioness, clearly a little out of it, quickly typed up her reply and gathered her surroundings. Yeah, she could get to the meeting place in about five or seven minutes, give or take. This wouldn't be considered actual training, right? She'd just be giving one of her peers some pointers, right? Right!
This can by no meansturn into something that would require actual physical effort from Jasmine. Nuh-uh. Otherwise Rin was going to have her ass.
She was fucked, wasn't she?
Yeah, deep down she knew she was. Aw fuck it. It was for a good cause.
It didn't take her long to reach the agreed upon meeting place, and luckily enough it seemed like she wasn't the first to arrive. Smiling at the other girl, she offered a quick two-finger salute, "Yo! What's up?"
Arisu spun to face Jazmine with an immediate expression of relief and excitement. "You came! Thank you! I didn't know who else to look to for ideas, but since it was your demonstrations during the Payload exercise that taught me that this sorta stuff was even possible, I wanted to try to go to the source for assistance." She did her best to keep her enthusiasm reined in- Jazmine, or Ember, used a similar quirk but had amped it to such high octane and control that she couldn't help but be a little awed of all that the girl had accomplished with such a volatile quirk at her disposal.
"So- ah- I suppose it'd help to give you a little demonstration and explanation, right? So you know what we're working with?" Arisu's mind was racing, plucking the best exemplifiers of her own abilities to lay out for consideration. She knew that its applications were still relatively limited, so she decided it'd be best to lay them all out at once. She climbed into one of the empty rings, wanting some clear space to show her stuff, and started off by dashing towards the other side of the ring.
She wasn't particularly quick, but what was relatively impressive all things considered was her maneuvering ability. She snapped from a full tilt sprint to leaping into the air and turning 180 degrees before firing off a blast of black flames from locked arms that immediately sent her rocketing back the other direction, hitting the ground at full-on sprint speed back towards Jazmine. Another burst sent her flipping head over heels on a backwards arc fifteen feet into the air, before catching herself on the way down with a last gentle gout of flame. She still ended up stumbling backwards on the landing from leftover horizontal momentum, but it did a great job of showcasing where she was- a good understanding of the way the movement could work, but little finesse, high-speed application, or experience in being creative with it, much less using it offensively, all of which Jazmine excelled at.
Arisu jogged back to the edge of the ring and leaned on the ropes, crossing her arms in front of her. She wasn't winded, but there were faint dark lines starting to creep up her arms from her wrists. "Aheh... what do you think? Is that enough to get started, Jazmine-san?"
Arisu wasn't exactly privy to Jazmine's injuries or block from exertion- chances were that was going to get her a talking to, down the road as well. Rin wasn't likely to be very happy her less-than-well beloved got roped into some upstart new kid's acrobatics training...

"Course I came," Jasmine replied, a smile and a short wink accompanying her words. "Normally you wouldn't see me dead with just anyone but whenever I see people who actually want to improve themselves on the road to becoming a hero I kind of can't help myself, y'know? Too many kids here are taking this way too easily so this is frankly quite the breath of fresh air. I actually got kind of excited when you reached out. Good on ya!" The girl explained, offering a quick thumbs up as she did so.
"Frankly anything is possible if you try hard enough and have the drive for it. And yeah, I was just about to ask you for something like that. Let's see what you got," as soon as those words left the American's mouth, Arisu sprung into action. Folding her arms beneath her sizable bust, Jasmine observed the girl keenly, lilac eyes plastered all over her like a hawk. The blonde took this time to examine every single movement displayed by the other female: how she wound up to build momentum, how she maneuvered - that part she already had in the bag, she noticed - and how she utilized her quirk to aid her with this entire endeavor.
Watching from the sidelines gave Jasmine a fairly good idea of where Arisu was at. She still lacked experience - that was a given considering she likely hasn't given the ability any chance to be used in combat yet - but the foundations were there and goddamn did they looked impressive. "To get started? You're already there!" Jasmine supplied, her previous smile turning into a grin. "I mean it's obvious you've got the foundations down but what I'm wondering is how you're able to apply that in combat."
Her actions got ahead of her thoughts, just as they had so many times in the past, and any thought of Rin bitching at her had quickly gone out the window and been fired off into a different solar system. Small cracks began reverberating against the ground at her feet and within seconds a bright flash could be seen. The muffled sound of an explosion sounded as the stone beneath her feet cracked and crumbled. Jasmine had propelled herself into the air via the use of her quirk, flipping mid air before releasing another explosive burst from her palm, launching herself above and behind the other female. With a reckless yet practiced type of finesse Jasmine flipped a few times more before gracefully landing in the middle of the ring Arisu was on. She fixed her posture and stood up straight, glancing at the girl with an almost challenging glint in her now-crimson eyes.
"So let's work on that. Movement like this is slow, so you have to add an element of surprise to it. You saw how I opened up on Angel, right? Fakes, fakes and fakes. Complement your lack of speed with the element of surprise," as she spoke, Jasmine raised her hand, waving for Arisu to 'come at her.' "Try to catch me off guard. I don't care how you do it, just do it. And if you're worried that I'll get hurt, I'll punch you. Clear enough? Alright. Go."
Intentionally or not, Jazmine had Arisu's number- flattery did wonders for the girl, and complimenting her drive to improve in the same breath that she deemed it not only admirable, but proper in contrast to the others in their school reframed her drive as a positive sign of dedication instead of an outpouring of her internal neuroses, which was how it felt a lot of the time. Maybe Jaz hadn't specifically been aiming to leave her erstwhile protege glowing- but she succeeded anyhow, and literally left Arisu bouncing on her heels in restrained excitement.
Arisu didn't have time to note Jazmine's bust, sizeable or not, while in the middle of her exhibition, but it was certainly easier to note once the blonde had her arms just beneath it, piquing Arisu's attention for precisely long enough to muse that she might actually have it worse than Arisu herself when it came to finding the right... "support" that was both in junior's sizes and the proper cup measurements. Then the thoughts were blown away in the training session's second glowing compliment, praising her on exploring her own foundations and being past the introductory stage and ready for application training.
In moments, Jazmine had exploded (literally) off the starting line and claimed the center of the ring, and demanded that Arisu show her what she had going in combat. The dark-haired girl nodded quickly and stepped up to the metaphorical plate, taking a boxer's guard before charging at Jazmine and winding up for a punch far, far too early, telegraphing the attack from here to kingdom come and starting to throw the blow so soon her arm would fully extend a good moment or two before her momentum would carry her close enough for the punch to strike. It looked utterly amateur. It looked like a novice mistake. It stopped looking that way when it exploded!
Arisu's arm flared with blackfire and cascaded a thick gout of the stuff forward, simultaneously reversing her advance and launching her backwards while also sending a rush of the heatless, enervating substance in a violent rush towards Jazmine. In the split second where most would shift from expecting her to change direction to deciding she was going to maintain that backwards rush, she set off a second burst behind her, launching her up and over Jazmine's head if not otherwise interrupted. Her plan was to shoot over the taller girl and ricochet once more, coming back to deliver a quick punch between her shoulders from a fist wrapped in the dark, exhausting flames, before firing off one more propulsive blast into Jaz's back to throw her out of melee range again.
Of course, melee range meant diddly to Jazmine, but she'd asked Arisu to set up the most surprising attack she could, and a chain of ranged feints shifting melee and melee feints shifting ranged while constantly changing her momentum to prevent her location from becoming predictable seemed the best way to show what she'd developed so far. It'd worked wonders on Ken- but he was a new student like her, and Jazmine might well be less than impressed with the acrobatic display.
Whether she was successful or not, dark veins had started to creep up her forearms after that display- she had bigger reserves than most, to be sure, but she'd put her all into the last couple of displays and it was starting to push those dark veins up her arms, spreading their chill with them. If Jazmine's eyes were sharp, they might catch the flesh around those dark veins being a touch paler than usual from temperature loss as well.

Watching the other female with both anticipation and curiosity, Jasmine bent her legs ever so slightly, lowering her center of gravity to comfortable levels. At this point whatever was thrown at her could be dealt with in one way or another - that one thought simple went to show how much confidence Jasmine Noir exuded at that particular point. Not a single opening could be seen in the blonde lioness' stance, glaring crimson eyes firmly glued on Arisu, her mind already trying to predict what kind of moves the girl would utilize in an attempt to catch her off-guard.
When Arisu finally moved on the offensive, Jasmine very briefly raised a brow. Surely the girl knew who she was up against. As far as Jasmine herself knew, Arisu wasn't an idiot - the notion that this rather sloppy frontal push forward wasn't her actual modus operandi in terms of offense a very likely one. A small smile crept up on Jasmine's lips the second she saw flames erupt from her would-be opponent's hand. Not too bad, she thought, maybe a little overplayed, but definitely not a bad start.
Within that split second that the flames took to reach the blonde Ace of 1A, she acted. Heat began formulating in her left palm as she opened her fist, setting free the sparks that were the opening signs of something bigger yet to come. As the volatile element closed in on her, Jasmine swiped her left hand diagonally, releasing a torrent of her own explosions to meet Arisu's quirk head on, negating the attack and sending it right back through sheer force alone. This, as a result, had created a 'push'; an expulsion of force from Jasmine's hand that, because she hopped off of the ground ever so slightly, was strong enough to propel her body backwards. A sign of paranoia, if you would, but because of the flames and explosions clashing the lioness' field of vision had been severely impaired - she didn't want to take the chance of Arisu using the cover of chaos to launch a subsequent attack.
It was something Jasmine herself would do, after all.
Just as she thought as she landed a good five meters away from ground zero, from above came Arisu, slamming her flames into the place where the lioness had previously stood. Jasmine's smile returned full force, "Not too shabby, Arisu," Jasmine complimented, crimson eyes locking on the dark veins on the girl's limbs. Despite that, Jasmine wasn't at all hindered by it. Arisu's next course of action would reveal her character. Reckless? Maybe. But frankly Jasmine wanted to know what the girl was made of.
Would she play it safe and end it there?
"But not good enough."
Or would she push herself to reach higher?
As Jasmine raised a singular right hand and stretched two of her fingers out - namely her middle and index - thus forming a 'finger gun' with her hand, her eyes narrowed competitively, "You're going to try a little harder than that if you want to even put a scratch on me." With those words having left her mouth, she fired. Five times. Quick and loud, the explosions she released were small yet fast and had quit a bit of penetrative force.
Her last words were a challenge, the activation of her quirk a hurdle. Jasmine didn't exactly know why she was doing this, but Arisu seemed like she was serious about asking the blonde for advice. If that was the case, Jaz wasn't about to go easy on her. People who had the balls to become stronger against all odds deserved at least that much.
Arisu landed with a grimace that faded only when Jazmine's compliment registered- and the followup was already playing in her mind ("but not good enough") when it left Jazmine's lips. The look on her face made it immediately clear that- despite frustration- she was already attempting to formulate a way around their mismatch. Jazmine could move more easily than her, had more experience, and- perhaps the most useful facet for defensive situations- completely denied the area she'd used to occupy every time she relocated. Any counterplay she had, she'd have to assume would be predicted- the attempt to follow-up from above had made that very clear. She also couldn't overpower Jazmine's quirk- while her own was capable of consuming energetic expulsions of similar strength, Jaz was on another level when it came to sheer firepower, a term rarely so apt as here.
She came up with a plan as Jaz brought her hand up with her fingers narrowed into a targeting device, essentially. Arisu's left arm flared and shoved her sideways, but not fast enough- the shockwave of the first explosion still nearly knocked Arisu off her feet, sending her stumbling clumsily forward in a rapid scramble to get her balance back. A little more blackfire propulsion and fast footwork kept her ahead of the next three, her ears still ringing from the first detonation and her thoughts with the knowledge that the only reasons she'd been able to escape had been Jazmine's restraint- had she unleashed a full-power blast as she'd seen her do in training, she'd have barely been out of ground zero and nowhere near clear of that blast radius.
The fifth explosion snapped out behind her, and Arisu replayed a couple tricks she'd already showed Jazmine- a rapid reversal, at just enough angle to cut out of view behind her own explosion, and an aerial catapult over the blast itself. This, she expected Jazmine to be able to react to. Her aerial arc was easily predicted, and shooting her down wouldn't be hard- but she wasn't done and had no intentions to be airborn long enough for that to happen.
Cocking both elbows back gave her upper arms the right angle for a dual flare of blackfire to rocket her immediately back towards the ground and propel her rapidly through the distance between herself and Jazmine and, hopefully, underneath any anti-air fire she let loose due to the first stage of her attempts to outplay the more experienced combatant. Both her hands shot open and sprayed the ground in front of her with a rushing gout of flame, which- she hoped- would either catch her off guard or drive her to relocate explosively all over again. If- as she thought was far more likely- Jazmine simply detonated her previous position and shifted backwards again- she gave herself a tiny delay for the worst of the shockwave to rock past her...
And propelled herself at top speed straight through the cloud of smoke towards where she thought Jazmine would be, fist cocked back for a flying straight punch, letting the lingering heat and flames scorch at her to buy her the opportunity to- possibly- land a single blow before Jazmine figured out enough about her strategies to simply counterplay everything... which she didn't think was going to take much longer.
The dark veins had passed her elbows at this point, as had the pervasive internal chill that was a more easily monitored signifier for how long she really had before she was out of juice. Arisu wouldn't be able to keep going at this rate for much longer whatsoever.

After the first few initial shots were fired, Jasmine was careful in the way she keenly analyzed Arisu's response and her movements. When she saw the girl diving into the ensuing chaos the American teenager couldn't help the small smile that made her lips twitch ever so slightly upwards. Arisu was using the dust and debris as cover to block the blonde's field of vision. It was a smart tactic, one that many have tried to use against Jasmine in the past. It was one of her weaknesses: while she could definitely unleash destructive haymaker after destructive haymaker, the follow-up could very often leave her open if she wasn't careful because of this very reason - collateral damage. Normally Jasmine would just respond with a quick dash backwards while readying another blast but that would be far beyond the scope of what this spar was supposed to be.
Instead, Jasmine simply readied herself for whatever her peer was preparing to answer with, raising both of her fists in front of her face to prepare for any incomming attack that was bound to come her way. Crimson eyes analyzed the smoke to try to pick up movement. She heard it before she saw it - the explosive release of fire that undoubtedly served to propel Arisu in an attempt to increase her movement speed. Before long Arisu came into her sightlines, charging directly at her. Jasmine's smile only widened - surely she couldn't be this desperate to simply charge her head first like this.
The American opted for a simple enough response - very often those who charged at her had their plans backfire spectacularly. Charging C2N14x, Jasmine released an explosion slightly below Arisu when the girl was close enough, ensuring that she'd receive some damage and, at the same time, the action would propel Jasmine backwards and out of danger. As soon as the initial blast hit home smoke was razed everywhere once more, obstructing Jasmine's vision. Very quickly Jasmine realized that this was what Arisu was waiting for.
Jasmine's eyes widened as she realized that Arisu fought through the blast and was advancing straight at her. Based on her position in the air and her momentum the American knew she wouldn't be able to dodge nor attempt a block. She scoffed as Arisu's fist was about to make contact.
The punch wasn't weak. Quite the contrary - it very briefly clouded the blonde's vision and screwed up her focus and posture to the point that she staggered and almost fell on her ass when her momentum finally ceased and she reached the ground. Instead, she landed on one knee as she slid backwards along the ground. She tasted metal on the tip of her tongue. Shit, the punch busted her lip. Heh, not too bad.
Jasmine then very casually stood up, wiping the stray drop of blood off of her mouth with the backside of her hand, "You got me," she said, a small smile appearing on her face as she propped her hands on her waist and sank into a hip. "I didn't expect you to be able to power through that. Consider me surprised and caught off guard. You did good, Arisu. I'll correct my previous statement. You've got more than just the groundwork laid out for yourself."
The strike of Arisu's rocket-powered punch surely wasn't weak, but it might take Jasmine further reflection to realize why the blow had affected her the way it had. Sure, her hand had been wrapped in black flames, but she hadn't felt anything like a burn- rather, the blow had been cold, and, when she had time to think on it, she might recognize the drop in her energy levels after the blow hit. If that effect could be delivered in melee, it would probably apply to someone who actually had to lash out in melee, too- a side effect the girl seemed aware of, if the consistent swirl of black fire across her arms was any indication. With that insight, and her growing respect for Arisu's tactical decisions, it might well occur to Jasmine how much more difficult fighting the girl would be for someone without either range or a weapon to allow them to strike without exposing themselves to... whatever that energy was.
When Jasmine wiped her mouth and straightened into a casual pose, Arisu finally dropped her arms and released the flames curling around her limbs. In their absence, the creeping black tracery of her veins was immediately evident, those lines nearly tucked beneath the shoulders of her top at this point. She let out a long, shaky breath as she wiggled her arms to ease the discomfort in them- using them for propulsion meant bracing her limbs in odd ways, and she thought she had an idea of the sort of stress Jasmine put on her own body to travel the way she did.
The praise left her grinning around slow, heavy breaths to recover herself, visibly delighted to have impressed Jasmine. "Thhh... hoo. Thank you! I've- spent a lot of time practicing different angles, trying to figure out what those abrupt momentum shifts... hoooffff... could do in a fight. It's- hard. I haven't been in many fights. Boxing practice, sure, but I don't often get the time to think "gee, how would rocket propulsion help me in this match", you know? It's... relieving to see it pay off. I really... really appreciate the compliment." She huffed again, shoved both hands up her face and pushed her hair back, blinking a few times. "Are you okay? You look okay. Some folks struggle really hard with Antipyre's effect, but you probably have really impressive energy reserves, with how draining your own power must be."
Another long breath. Arisu held it a heartbeat before speaking again. "Do- you think you could teach me to fight like you, then? I promise I'll put in the work. You won't have to baby sit me, just- coach me on the fine details. I want to be able to have the kind of impact you have on a fight. Hit the scene and just take control, shut down resistance, calm things down quickly, and your style of bombastic, rapid takedowns and stuff is exactly the sort of impression that could end fights before they start, you know?"

Yup, it was then that she felt it. Initially it was a little difficult to catch as it wasn't necessarily significant given the fact that Jasmine took one hit, but boy did she later feel it. Eventually the adrenaline pumping in Jasmine's veins had subseded, the superlative focus that now practically by default took over her state of mind whenever she fought had begun to fade as well. As soon as her status as battle-ready wavered for the briefest of moments, the young American felt it. Her poise wavered just a tad as suddenly she begun to feel sluggish, almost as though she had gone through four times as much sparring as she just had. Heck, even a short yawn left her lips - one that she very quickly squashed. What the fuck? Yeah she had felt the cold flame, that wasn't at all surprising given the variety of quirks she'd seen in the past. But this? Oh this was a whole nother level of effective.
A long humm left Jasmine as she smiled and scratched her chin. The possibilities with this quirk were endless. While Jasmine herself, true to Arisu's every word, was capable of going in guns blazing and taking out every threat in her field of vision, overpowering them through sheer force and unrelenting attacks, Arisu would very likely be capable of simply siphoning the energy out of them. One mistake from them is all it took to be captured inside her flaming spider web. It was like a cold hand that gripped you and wouldn't let go until you weren't able to stand. Devious. Truly devious. Yet super fucking effective at the same time. Jasmine couldn't help but get excited when she considered how much stronger this girl may become further down the line.
Though, at the same time, the blonde lioness wasn't unaware of the black on the girl's arms the second her flames were put out. Was that her veins? Very likely a side-effect of Arisu's quirk, Jasmine reckoned. Well some drawbacks were to be expected given the potential this quirk possessed. It was the same in Jasmine's case - go too hard and you'll end up breaking yourself. Quirks were like any other physical ability. Overwork it and you'll simply end up injuring yourself.
"Yeah, I struggled with Drive as well when I first began learning it. The number of times I faceplanted a wall, my God..." she said while shaking her head, snorting at the memory all the while. "You'll get the hang of it, though. Practice, practice and practice. It's kind of like riding a bike. At first you're super conscious of what you're doing, trying not to fuck up but fucking up anyway until you're able to ride the bike without even thinking about it. The more you fail, the more you learn to not make the same mistake again and the more you try the quicker it becomes like second nature. It's how I learned - countless mistakes and a shitton of hours of repetition."
"Antipyre, huh?" Jaz mused, rotating her shoulder a little as she noted how fitting the name was. "Yeah, I mean... I'm fine? As you said my energy reserves are kind of out there but then again you did only hit me once. I assume the more somebody gets exposed to your flames the harder it is on them right? That's a hella useful ability. Makes me kind of jealous, to be perfectly honest with you."
There it was. The million dollar question. Jasmine folded her arms and listened as Arisu spoke, nodding to her words. She hummed to herself, "Will I... or will I not? Hmm," she then paused and grinned at the girl. "Hell naw I won't, dumbass," she said, flicking the girl's forehead. "What's the point of fighting like me? Are you me? No. You're you," the American began, a small smile on her face. "Listen, you and I have quirks that, while similar at a glance, are entirely different. Just from our little spar alone and after having felt Antipyre in action I can tell that there's no point for you to learn how to, quote unquote, blow shit up until there's nothing left."
"So how about this: instead of 'teaching you to fight like me' I help you hone your own fighting style? Something that would be tailor made for you and you'd be able to use freely to maximum effect? Yeah? Sound good?"
"Don't worry. Practicing until I can't help but get it right for having found all the ways to fail already is kind of my schtick," Arisu said, nodding as the blonde bombshell went through her own little reverie. She flushed at the idea, though, that Jasmine was jealous of how her quirk worked. She'd never once heard that before coming here, and every time she'd faced off with someone since, it'd been something they'd complimented. It was a drastic shift in tone to her life and perspective, but it was one she was starting to like a lot! "Yeah, every hit wears you down more. It works really well if they can't just stand back and pelt something at me, or make something to beat me with. It's- flattering, honestly, to hear you say you're jealous. Your quirk is incredible!"
Her face fell for a moment when it sounded like Jasmine was gonna turn her down- but then it went 180 into developing her own style and Arisu lit up, clenching her fists in front of her body to try to manage her own excitement! "Yes!! Yes, absolutely, I'd love that! Whenever you're ready to start on that- or to just, like, play crash test dummy for your own stuff- I'm there!"
