[smear:#1979e6]TIME FOR THE REAL WORLD
Okay kids! Time to graduate and face the real world and here's the sign up sheet for it! First and foremost, be informed this event has optional OOC participation. If you do not sign up, you will still graduate. The event thread you end up in just determines which of the 3 you will OOCly play out. ICly? Your character will participate in all 3 portions of the exam, just... off screen, in the threads you don't get assigned to.
Taking place at the Saikyuen building, a dome shaped building on the outskirts of Tokyo designed for recreating disaster scenarios for heroes to train and practice in, the 3rd year students (and Jack) will be brought to this building the same day the 1st and 2nd years will be performing the sports festival. Students will be put through 3 exam portions, detailed below, facing off against NPC heroes (Examn Heads) playing the role of a villain to test their capabilities.
Remember, whether you succeed, 'fail', or don't sign up, your character will graduate unless they purposely do something catastrophic or against the grain of a hero. Basically, just do your best!~
- Part 1 - Speed Rescue - Volunteers are placed throughout a dangerous zone. The exam head will be holding 3 of them specifically hostage, while others will be littered throughout the area. The priority is rescue and defeating the examiner is in no way a priority. Smaller sidekicks may act as goons.
- Part 2 - Disaster control - The exam head this time leads students in a disaster control situation, earthquake, tsunami, aftermath of a quirk disaster, etc. Rescuable volunteers may be present but it will primarily be focused on using quirks to reduce continued damage to structures and the environment, with the odd cry for help in perilous situations
- Part 3 - Take down - The exam head will face whoever they find in direct combat with several side kick goons. The exam head will outpower whatever students are set to face them stat and/or number wise. It will be designed to push the students to a victory moment, OR, test their instincts as heroes. Do you push yourself to lose against an unbeatable foe, do you push beyond them and bring them down, or do you take small victories, taking down as much of their goons as possible, and retreating when civilians are safe?
We'll be attempting to get 3-4 people in each part, so please sign up using the sheet below. If there is immense interest in a specific part, we'll simply double down on a single part of the exam and hold multiple threads. Otherwise, we'll try to even things out.
Sign ups will end next Saturday, 27th of Feb, officially closing Sunday morning.
