Training with one’s quirk is often a difficult task depending on what is being used. Some train their body to use it better, others use it repeatedly so they can get more out of it, other times its just keeping it on for a while so they can use it more. What do people do to train their summon? Well it's a complicated answer as it involves what they do, what the summon is and so on. But the shortest answer one can say without misunderstanding is ‘memorizing and training reflexes”. The summon is an extension of one’s own power and how one controls it depends on the user. However most cases seems to fall under it being treated as another limb to control like anything else. Only difference is that this extension can be brought out at any time.
So thats why Yuuto is here in the training grounds and punching the fuck out of a wall. Summoning Razor and usually testing his strength and speed. Helps with keeping focus and knowing where to hit. One would assume that the summon does most of the work from the outside, but it is more complicated to do in action. A novice would have trouble controlling it at the start and it’d be impossible to fight with it. However, a trouble early adolescent life in school meant plenty of time to train against walking punching bags and the like. Survival is the greatest motivator to do anything is someone famous could have said. As another wall broke down, he focused and Razor changed shape to become more samurai like. He focused again to morph it into more of a defender and one last time to change it into a quadrupedal shark. As he relaxed the summon returned to its normal base form.
“I think a few more of those and I’ll be done for today.” Yuuto said to Razor as he gave a thumbs up. The shark responded with a thumbs up to show that they are ready for it. As this was his personal time to train, someone even remotely sneaking up on him would both rude and agitating to the young man.

When the boy thought that he had hit his natural peak of martial arts talent, already sure that he wouldn't ever go beyond what he could do, like any of those real "big" martial artists that could win local and regional tournaments. The young boy hadn't even participated in any of them, neither had he sparred, Quirkless, any sort of martial artist. Kouta just figured that he wouldn't be able to really give a proper fight. Instead, he developed the things he could do with his quirk, choosing to forgo the mastery he was "sure" he'd never achieve and, instead, have so much variety options that he could overcome any sort of style weakness by shifting entirely.
Mixed is a thing, but, with his quirk, he was the All-Trade sort of person.
"With my Cape-Weapons, I can do a lot of stuff. I just need to learn at least a few bit more than juts the basics with whatever weapons I try. Like.. to become capable enough of using it all? I dunno. Training alone is one thing, it's just that training against others makes everything so much faster. Like - I can't truly improve if I'm not training against someone, somehow.
How does that even work." The young, dark child started wondering what to do with his quirk and how to properly train it. The first step to truly improve would be to find someone who was close by and ask them for a small spar. Not even one where anyone could get hurt, he meant more of a Karate/Judo training where if someone got immobilized or pushed out it'd be A-OK. On a sidenote, it actually made him feel very very good about martial arts when eh found out that most of them were actually quite disciplined and great, where people didn't fight for aggression, but fight to learn self defense. Their spars were honorable and restrained, focusing on skill instead of violence.
Back to reality. Being the naturally sneaky, quick creature that he was, Kouta made his way to right behind Yuuto, his steps doing no noise mainly because he wasn't walking - instead, he flew all the way over to him. Once at a distance where they could talk, Kouta spoke up, completely unaware of how he might be startling the young guy who was training by himself as well. "Hello! Would you care for a small martial arts sparring match?"

Yuuto was deep in thought as formulated various uses of his quirk in fights.
There are many things he has to work out with his battle plan with his quirk. Range is good for his current level but that leaves him way too open for underhanded attacks. Most of his power comes from Razor which is both great and terrible. As much power as his summon wields, there is a limit on what it can do for him. He can do as much as he can see with his own eyes as the summon only follows orders. The chain can also be utilized but one must be car-
“WHO IN THE FUCK ARE YOU?!”,
The sudden voice that came from behind him was appropriate response on whoever the fuck just appeared behind him. His first instinct was to use Razor to immediately rush to him and throw a mean punch into the assailant in the face. Is this necessary ? By all means its not, but it is somewhat justified by a sudden introduction.
The hit was aimed at his face and it narrowly missed Yuuto’s face. This was common in his days in middle school so something like this was simple. However punching a person in response in surprise isn’t a very effective way to make friends. As the person flew back and fell back onto the floor, Yuuto finally sees the individual and he was in for a shock.
“First, don’t pop up behind someone like that. Second, introduce yourself and then propose that shit…”,he said as he stood with his hands in his pockets.

Quick to the reaction as the boy always was, short moments after Yuuto noticed him and, quite quickly, reacted in an aggressive way by sending his summon to punch Kouta, the young boy raised his arms quite quickly in front of his head, blocking the punch so that it wouldn't go directly to his face and squish his nose, still not quick enough to the reaction to stop himself from being launched away, his body tumbling and rolling a bit on the ground. It hurt for sure, but it could be worse, actually. "Owie! Sorryyyy! I'm Kouta, from Support Studies and I saw your Summon quirk and I wondered if I could fight it in a martial arts match, I'm sure it won't hurt you!"
Aside from being completely wrong and mislead when it came to summon quirks, Kouta, the "scared of fighting" boy seemed to be quite happy and open to the chance of fighting a Summon Quirk in a martial arts sparring match, ignoring his own pain or the danger he'd put himself in completely, choosing to instead step forward, perfectly white, beady eyes staring directly at Yuuto's, the young Itsuki somehow slightly taller than the summoner, making him actually look down for once. When in a resting position, Shadow Monster Man was a bit of an unsettling quirk. Seemingly originating in his eyes, dark blue veins sometimes pulsated all over his body, almost too dark to even be noticed (unless under direct light), as well as somehow emitting an eternal "droning" sound, which also could only be heard in absolute silence.
That sort of presence that only got worse and worse the more alone they were in. "You wouldn't mind that, uh.. would you? What's your name, anyway?" Kouta asked in his slightly cavernous, yet youthful voice, rubbing the back of his head to ruffle his jet black hair, attently waiting for his answer.

Support...studies? That was the last class he expects to be practicing martial arts, even less when they’re getting involved in fights. Despite his demeanor, something about him is rubbing him the wrong way. A part could be how quickly he sneaked up on him but there's also this tone of voice that sets him off. Reading people is a useful skill in day to day interactions but the alarms in his head are going off.
However turning down an opportunity to test out some new techniques with his summon would be a waste. The way of the game this time will be cautious optimism as he has to watch his step since he has zero clue on Koutas quirk. Might as well introduce himself since he asked already.
“Sameijima. Yuuto Samejima.”,he calmly answered as his he takes a fighting stance with Razor ready. “Considering you were the one who came to me, I might as well accept your challenge…”, he stated with a glare. Razor is fast but this guys stats is still not known. Worse of worse he may try some new ideas but let's just find out.
Martial Arts types usually have a similar pattern if memory serves correctly but knowing this school, these people could be a different league. The only thing he can do is find out as Razor gets in front of Yuuto and he positions himself in such a way to hide the chain from view.
“I’m ready when you are…”, he tells Kouta as he visibly prepares himself for whatever he is going to do.

Why would someone as warm and kind as Kouta be flaring up those alarms in Yuuto? Maybe it was that overwhelming energy towards a fight that was simply so unusual for a boy like him -- which may or may not be influenced by his usual dosage of meds he takes daily to deal with both his quirk and depression. Couldn't be that, Yuuto had never met Kouta before, so he had no way to see this attitude as unusual. Maybe, though, he just didn't get along well with boys like him, of such happy, upbeat attitudes, even when desiring a fight.
Amped up on meds as he was, there was no way he'd even start thinking about the actual possibility that Yuuto's summon quirk would transfer its pain to the user, as the usual general rule of summon quirks. Like how Kouta's cape feels like skin, both for the good (like multi-petting a crowd of doggies), as well as for the bad, like when it gets damaged and it feels like his skin is being ripped and destroyed. Instead, all he thought about was how he just accepted the fight so, now, there were no setbacks!
"Alright! Let's have lots of fun!" The first thing Kouta would do, obviously, is to test out the adversary's reaction time, as well as their speed of response. As he did it to so many others, this shark thing would be no different: by shuffling his feet in place at increasing, even inhuman speeds, his torso remaining as stable as possible, the shadow boy "disappeared", using a simple trick of the eye where, thanks to the sudden change in speed, there'd be a split moment where Yuuto wouldn't be keeping up.
Taught to him by Feng, it was called "Vanishing Step".
With this first "boost", Kouta moved at full speed towards the Summon, taking a little curve by the right to get to him, so that he could avoid Yuuto's eyes for a moment longer, looking to land a blitzing-fast kick to its side, not having the strength to match his speed (E Strength to D speed), since the young man was fighting with his body alone, forgoing the usual boost of his cape, figuring that he should continue to hone his body into a fine weapon, one that doesn't have to include his cape at all times, for it is not an entity without its weaknesses - like, under harsh light from a quirk, the cape is the first thing to go.

Personal rule of Yuutos is: don't trust the darkness, don't trust foods given to you and never underestimate anyone. This kind of thinking saved his ass more times than he could count and it's going to be put to the test right now.
Well he’s quick to start fighting righ- WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GO?! IS THAT A STEALTH QUIRK? WHY THE HELL DOES HE HAVE THESE SKILLS AND IN SUPPORT STUDIES? LOOKS LIKE HIS ANXIOUSNESS WAS WELL FOUNDED SINCE THIS KID AIN'T WHAT HE SEEMS. Stealth quirks were a bitch to handle in middle school due to the tactics they would use. Sucker punches, traps, feints, one instance of a knife, the whole deal. But he hadn’t fought one head on in so long that he can’t get a read on how fast the kid is. Wait, first gotta calm down and think about this rationally and quickly.
Where did he vanish to? The answer is obvious since this is now a sparring match. But the question is where is going to attack from? Aiming for the user is the most obvious answer but then the guy doesn't seem to be the type to sucker punch first. And he is damn sure that he isn't the type to hit him below the belt because he would already be reeling from the pain from the moment this fight started.
In the corner of Yuuto’s eye he caught something for a moment and footstep. He quickly looked to his side to see Kouta aiming a kick and it was coming at him. Razor quickly put up his guard as a response but he was a moment too late as he underestimated the force of the kick and it pushed him a fair bit to the side. He may have blocked the hit but he sure as hell felt some of the force behind it. What the fuck kind of fighting style is that?! Doesn't seem like any martial arts style taught in any school? Is that a specialized style? This situation keeps getting more complicated as he is trying to comprehend everything that his happening to him. What he knows right now is that Yuuto knows that he is: Less skilled, less trained, out matched in terms of speed, and his opponent has the ability to get the drop on him at any time. This is bad ...but this can work to his advantage if he strategizes right. But he has to do this quick and smart or else he is going to be a punching bag.
Reponse to set action. Yuuto knelt down and gathered some dirt in his palm and quickly got back up. He has a few ideas to deal with the stealth part but the speed and damage part is going to be tricky since he could prolly outspeed Razor. He calls Razor and gets into a defensive stance and the chain connected the both of them is looped around Yuuto. He quickly takes off his eyepatch and took a deep breath.
“Are you sure you’re in support studies? You feel like a combat student from the way you move...I assume you’re either not taking school seriously or the school put you in there by accident..”, Yuuto snarked at Kouta as he watches him intently with both his eyes locked on him. Depending on his reaction and next set of moves, he could have a viable strategy to take on this dude.

That weird blend of Chinese Martial Arts taught to him by Feng and his quirk that's capable of super-human feats did indeed pose quite the confusing threat to those that weren't ready, including Yuuto. Feng was actually even worse in how weirdly she fought, since her martial arts included a lot of more dance-like moves, to keep the adversary in a weird rythm, only to keep confusing them with sudden shifts whenever attacking. Kouta himself liked to be much more of a minimalist when he fought, doing only the necessary movements instead of being excessive.
Excessive, though, was useful to confuse someone when they were better. So far, this summon was not better than him, at least seen in the first strike. Barely reacted, defended yet was pushed back and could not at all keep up with his speed, having gone invisible simply by going very fast. Didn't even need his ACTUAL invisibility skill.
"I'm not lazy and I wasn't put there by mistake! I'm training to be a spy and support studies teaches things that aren't combat and that I'll need! Not just silly violence!" Shuffling his feet around again, the now tell that Kouta was charging up his momentum to blast off again, he inspected Yuuto and his summon well. It failed his gaze when Yuuto reached for dirt so, to see him looking so confident and standing tall, it made him start thinking that he may have some strategy relating to predicting his movements. By this point, though, he was figuring that Yuuto wouldn't be able to keep up with his pace either and would grow tired before the shadow boy, so he had a new move he developed while training Vanishing Step.
It had no name. Yet. He started by vanishing from sight once again with sheer speed, only slowing down close to the summon's right side, apparently to strike him, his right arm raised to do so. It would not happen. Instead, he vanished again, his speed now flinging Kouta into Razor's back, winding up a kick. It would also not happen. He vanished yet again, now back at his front, winding up for one hell of an uppercut. It did not happen either and it continued to not happen for a good few seconds, where he popped on all four sides of the summon in no actual pattern to confuse Yuuto for as long as he could until the young boy predicted that Yuuto would figure out that, if he attacked all four sides at once, he could catch Kouta. That one time, he'd actually only stop right above the summon instead, legs crouched down as much as he could before he shot them out, attempting to kick him so hard he'd bury that summon into the ground, the lack of using his special "cape strength" once again making his attack not optimal in its power.
It also turned out that repeatedly moving at high speeds and going to almost still lows REALLY wasted energy. Thank god he didn't try that against a real bad guy.

Silly violence eh? That's one hell of an excuse if he ever heard one…
Koutas movements were fast, too fast to try and catch with how Yuuto is now. He was vanishing in and out like it was no problem. But he was being studied and watched by Yuuto as he kept using his trick. He would try several feints to throw him off and it nearly caught him a few times but nothing too concrete. He had no pattern but the process was all the same. Appear, Vanish, Move, Feint, and then repeat and cycle. But it was a form of conditioning at this point and it was too a bitch to figure out. But it was too narrow minded and too simple. A support class is good and all, but whatever they teach you in there aint shit compared to thinking on the field. The fucker outclassed me in speed and mobility, but like hell is he gonna lose in battle savvy
As each attack vanished, he would keep an eye open for the area above him. Obvious blind spot that could be exploited if left unchecked. But a few years against fuckers who did nothing but dirty tricks teach you how diversionary tactics worked.
His eyes would dart up as he would see the bastard appear above and attempt a drop kick on Razors head. He commanded Razor to jump back and pull Yuuto with him as the kick clipped his head. But the force of that kick then sent him towards the ground and it was then the strategy was in ready. He lacks speed or damage, but he has a brain and has tricks. This is a sparring match but he never once mentioned he had to fight fair.
Yuuto ran at him threw the handful of dirt at Kouta aiming for his face, aiming to impair his vision in the opening he could make. As soon as he would throw out the dirt, he would kneel down to pick up some more dirt as Razor went at him full speed to attempt to nail him with a heavy right hook. Hopefully sending him flying.
“Silly Violence my ass, they can teach you everything in this damn school but they’ll teach you jack shit about what do on the fly”, He exclaimed out loud as he would get back up and give a thumbs down with Razor in a neutral battle pose following up behind him. Unecessary but the pose came as naturally as he said that with a straight face.

Kouta failed to account for Yuuto's fighting experience that allowed him to entirely predict the boy's moves, his hands moving right to his eyes to block the dirt he was throwing, not having his eyes peltered with that shit, though still leaving his torso wide open for that heavy blow from the shark thing, Kouta's defenses being completely shattered for that instant, his body flung quite a good meters away, looking like he really had gone down for a while. Still, in mid-air, the young boy's body twitched, an explosion of darkness rising right out of his neck, a sort of flowing, flexible darkness surrounded his entire body.
Finally, he outright showed his flight ability, his body vanishing while still mid-air, shooting back directly at Yuuto and his summon quirk. There was an unnatural amount of pressure coming out of Kouta as he loomed over both of them, his right arm, pushed backward, looked like it was growing, bit by bit, to become one fit of a giant's, not of a small guy like him.
"Then fly, my pretty!"
Freezing in mid-air to have stability, as if literally standing on a floor that did not exist, the Shadow Monster Man shot forward his right fist, his entire body twitching as all of his muscles tightened at once to channel strength straight to the tip of his "enlargened" fist, putting as much power as his quirked-body and cape could apply in that instant, the wind seemingly twisting around the flat face of that fist, sounding akin to a low, shaky yet menacing rumbling. A jab that was strong, fast and technically great enough to send the summon and, by extension, Yuuto a whole bunch of meters away, taken with the sheer impact and the slight extra of the gust of wind released from the sudden stop upon contact, likely in great pain - pain that Kouta was not predicting, since he still truly believed that his adversary wouldn't be hurt as long as he only hit that summon.

Landed a Hit!
The hit did some damage but a hit like that wouldn't be enough to knock him out. Though lets see what else he ca- oh what the fuck is that. Is his body flying? What the fuck is that quirk and why is there this omnious feeling hes getting? His body was covered in a pitch black shade that covers his entire body. This is bad, this seems real bad and the plan he had before is now put on hold with this new discovery. And-
Where the hell did he vanish to?!
Yuuto would quickly look up and see the caped Kouta winding up for something. Should he use the new technique he has been working on now? Or should he not? Is he really in support studies with a move set like this? What kind of criteria does this school have if people like him get assigned to a support class?!
As Yuuto was getting ready to go on the defensive, Kouta had other plans as he launched a massive jab at young shark. Razor would dash in front of Yuuto and then he would morph and change into a shark-themed shield that attached to his arm. He would quickly raise his arm to defend. Using the chain as a handle as a guide he would take the force of the hit and fly backwards. He flew quite a distance away, but he was fine but he felt that hit. However, a smile was on his face as he finally saw what his opponent can do and now he can see how well his experiences go up against a beast.
“Now this is what I’m talking about! Let’s go!!”, Yuuto would exclaim out loud as he went into full sprint at Kouta. He would be counting up the meters as he got closer. At about 6 meters, he would stop himself and hold his shield up, only then to quickly change it into a lance. The center of the shield would blast out into a cone shape and attempt to hit Kouta again. He can’t hold it longer than a few seconds but it will be enough to get a hit in. Not aiming to stab but to see if his hits can still hurt him in this state. Only one way to find out I suppose.

Yuuto sure had some amazing skills with that summon of his, taken aback by its transforming abilities, now aware that it could do so when it became a shield to soften the blow he gave him, looking on as he didn't even fall when he went backward, instead choosing to run directly towards Kouta with that shield held up. Obvious by now what he'd try to do, which was an attack by morphing the summon once again - he just revealed that the shark can do that, so Kouta knows what to do to defend. And yet, he also wants to know just how hard it can hit. Could it really punch through his cape or would it be soundly stopped when it came into contact.
Choosing to test it out instead, Kouta lost his stance entirely in one go, releasing the tension in his body, straightening himself up and even relaxing his arms, just letting the cape's tendrils wrap around his entire body tighter than before, to close off any small spots or openings it might leave out in a rushed transformation, a ready and full "armor" suit that would meet Yuuto's..spear. His spear directly. The impact was strong for sure, the sheer impact and running start clashing against Kouta's chest and, as far as he was aware, working quite well since the young boy was pushed back a bit, the spear seemingly digging into his flesh more and more.
Thing was, Kouta just got pushed because he's small and not exactly heavy. That spear was not progressing any further and, to make matters worse, the Shadow Monster's left hand reached up slowly, placing his hand gently on his spear, quietly caressing it once or twice to properly feel its texture. The entire time it felt like Kouta's white, beady and endlessly empty eyes stared directly at Yuuto while the support student inspected his summon in the middle of a fight. "..Rough, yet surprisingly to glide your hand through. Scales, easily.." With some force applied on his left hand, he'd slowly force the spear to be lowered to his own side, still paying very close attention to Yuuto's actions, still looking very much like he was staring into his soul and intimidating it from inside.
The way it did not hurt him at all, the way he was treating it as a non threat and even lowering it down like a parent would lower the sharp stick a child keeps waving around.. none of it was right. "You sure can get a running start. I am impressed." Kouta allowed the shark to go back to the shield form, or whatever other form it had, before his tendrils on his right arm extended a little bit, wrapping itself into a cylindrical shape at first, made out of flowing darkness, so that it could tighten and reshape itself into the baton of the young boy's imagination, moving it around slowly, getting familiarized with handling a weapon that was already forcefully attached to him before he walked towards his adversary.
Slowly, armed and still holding eye contact, the young Kouta now looked to test his mental fortitude. If he attacked brashly, a counter with the baton would be easy to do and deal a possible finishing blow. If he kept his wits about him and didn't let Kouta get to his head, then.. it'd likely be another free strike.

SHIT the attack didn’t do anything, the fuck is that armor, the fuck is that quirk, what in the fuck is going ?! He is treating the stab like a nuisance and staring me down. What kind of quirk is this and how does this work? What's with the sudden personality change? What exactly kind of fight he has gotten into where we have an eldritch horror as a weapon!? What kind of counterplay does he have to do to get the upper hand here if that's even possible? This is the worst case scenario and with his stats, running isn't exactly an option.
“Screw you, you eldritch bastard. You dont scare me one bit, so bring it nerd!”, Yuuto would yell out in anger. The goal here went from winning to surviving this bastard and bet your ass he is gonna get out of this. Oh so he’s copying what he does now and expecting him to run. A normal person would run away at the sight of this but Yuuto was neither normal or in the mood to run away.
He sized up his opponent to the best of his ability to see where to strike. Looking for openings and what not and examining his weapon. He would resummon Razor from his shield as he would glare at him.
Using the weapon tactic is not gonna work, choking him out is out of the question and running away isn't his style. Yuuto would take a deep breath and considering his options as he got into a ready stance. There isn't much he can do and the odds of him winning are as likely as a crane game. Heavily stacked and possibly the most dangerous sparring match as of date…. But that's where the real fun begins!
“Let’s Go!”, Yuuto would yell out as he would, without a second of hesitation, run at Kouta with Razor following behind him. He would take the hit from the Baton and it would surely hurt him alot. Why would he do this? Why in gods name would he get himself hurt? Razor would get into Range and bring down a barrage of punches on Kouta and hopefully doing some damage. Defense is good but with his fuckin face uncovered, bet your ass its gonna be easy to hurt. No plans, no tactics, just a good old fashion fight with every trick ready in his hands.
“SCREW YOU!”, he exclaimed as he flipped him off as he was hit.

Kouta had been playing a lot of games, honestly. The dark, naughty influence of his quirk that took the already confident Kouta to the realm of overly cocky, under-estimating Yuuto after seeing just how little his lance did to push through his cape, not really regarding his approach as anything dangerous and even walking slowly to see if he could psych him out and horrify him into doing something stupid and easily counter-able.
As Yuuto and Razor approached Kouta, since he had been doing so from the start, targeted Razor who got just a little too close like the reckless dummy that his user was being, a cross-counter to the first punch being all that he needed, or so he thought, to stop the advance. It wasn't some easy, light slam either, it really was one heavy blow to Razor's face with the tip of the baton, having to use it to actually reach the tall creature. So, while underestimating Yuuto, he expected Razor to back away and flinch in pain, or some sort of reflex reaction that imitates pain and is actually just a warning sign that the summon is taking damage.
"You gave in to intimid-- BRGHGL--!" What Kouta did not expect was the ungodly amount of guts that Yuuto had on him. By his will, the absolute lad pushed through the first cross counter, instead having Razor barrage Kouta's uncovered face with all that he had, the surprise catching him off guard, the punches hurting just as much as normal punches: when to the face, it's not fun at all, with Kouta being launched away once again thanks to his hubris, his body tumbling a few times before he forcefully stabilized himself, sighing.
"I'll.. hand you that one. Man! What a wake-up call!" The adrenaline-filled Kouta stood back up after that barrage, shuffling something around in his mouth, before spitting it out. A clear white liquid was launched to the ground close to them, its coloration coming back shortly after being separated from Kouta's body, into a strong red color. Blood. Kouta had bitten his cheek a bit from the barrage to his face, as well as sustained an actual decent amount of damage.
Nothing broken.. So far. He better not let it happen either.
"I guess it is true what they say about summoners! Always go for the user, not the summoned creature. Say: if we continue, things will really heat up for a while and one of us will come out probably really hurt. I don't like hurting other people but I like being a let down even less! What do you say, will you take that risk?" Kouta asked, his better judgement and gentle personality being clouded by his quirk's dark passion for combat, Kouta's body taking a more formal pose, one that greatly resembled Feng Yao's own battle stance, his cape's tendrils expanding rapidly to wrap around Kouta's head, leaving only small spaces for his glowing eyes to shine through.
